VS Day 3 — Tech Day

Together we grow stronger - and rise to the top of Server 88.

VS Day 3 — Tech Day

Wednesday research strategy: what to save, buy, open, and speed up for maximum VS points.

Day 3 — Tech Day (Wednesday)

Wednesday is the day to score with Research Data, research completion and Power, Research Speedups, and Fighter Component Chests (Fighter Parts Boxes). A Radar Mission has a base value of 10,500 VS Points and can reach 26,250 with maximum general and Radar bonuses, so begin the day with the largest possible saved supply.

Fill Radar Mission storage before Wednesday

  1. On Tuesday, open the Radar screen and check your Maximum Saved Incidents, restock amount and interval, and the Restores to full time.
  2. Work backward from the Wednesday reset. Complete only enough missions on Tuesday for the remaining scheduled restocks to bring storage to exactly its maximum when Tech Day begins.
  3. Do not leave storage full too early: additional free restocks would be lost. Do not use too many missions either: you would begin Wednesday below capacity.
  4. Use your own Radar level and timer for the calculation. In the example screenshot, the capacity is 35 saved missions and the radar adds 11 every six hours.

Save these all week

  1. Research Data: do not upgrade the Alliance Competition (VS) or Super Soldiers research branches on any other day. Upgrade them only on Wednesday, because each Research Data spent earns VS points on Tech Day.
  2. Fighter Component Chests: do not open them on other days. Save the entire week and open every chest on Wednesday. A good target is about 100 Level 1, 50 Level 2, and 10–30 Level 3 chests by Tech Day.
  3. Research Speedups: save every research-only speedup for Wednesday and plan to finish the day with none left.

Prepare Alliance Points and the Research Director

Budget 39,900 Alliance Points for Wednesday and buy the entire weekly stock of research speedups from the Alliance Shop:

  • 5 × 8-hour Research Speedup at 6,000 points each = 30,000.
  • 11 × 1-hour Research Speedup at 900 points each = 9,900.

Start every Wednesday research while appointed Research Director (Research Minister). The office grants +50% Tech Research Speed. Check the appointment queue in advance, estimate when your current research ends, and use speedups if needed so you are ready to start the next research during your appointment.

The correct Wednesday cycle

Repeat this sequence for every research:

  1. Receive the Research Director appointment.
  2. Start the research while the office bonus is active.
  3. Request Alliance Help.
  4. Wait until the help counter is completely filled.
  5. Only then use Research Speedups to finish the research.
  6. Plan the finish around your next Research Director slot, start another research under the bonus, request full Alliance Help again, and repeat.

Research priority

  1. Alliance Competition (VS) — first priority because it uses Research Data without regular resources.
  2. Super Soldiers — next priority because it also increases your combat strength.
  3. Cargo / Convoy — use only if the branch is unlocked and you still have Research Data and regular resources. It is the lowest priority of these options.

End-of-day checklist

  • All nine daily VS chests opened: 7,190,000+ points.
  • Radar Mission storage used for Wednesday scoring.
  • Research Data spent as close to zero as possible.
  • All saved Fighter Component Chests opened.
  • All Research Speedups used after full Alliance Help.
